We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's team and drive the transformation of their infrastructure into a modern, scalable, and fully automated system. This role is ideal for someone passionate about scalability, automation, and reliability, ready to tackle the challenges of transitioning from a hybrid cloud-bare metal setup to a Kubernetes-driven infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Evolution: Develop and execute a DevOps roadmap to shift to automated, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.

• Stability & Performance: Enhance system stability, scalability, and performance to meet SLAs and SLOs.

• Optimization: Identify infrastructure gaps, propose and implement improvements to boost efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• CI/CD & GitOps: Manage and optimize CI pipelines, evolving them into a robust GitOps framework using tools like ArgoCD.

• Monitoring & Incident Response: Track uptime SLAs, monitor system health, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure prompt incident resolution.

• Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to support efficient scaling and streamlined deployments.

Our Current Tech Stack: LXC, QEMU VMs, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, S3, nginx, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Postgres, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Jenkins, SOPS, Ansible, Terraform, Talos Linux, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions.

What We’re Looking For

• IaC Expertise: Hands-on experience with Terraform, Crossplane, or Pulumi.

• Kubernetes Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Kubernetes Operators.

• Infrastructure Management: Experience with modern bare-metal infrastructures and Linux administration.

• Monitoring Skills: Familiarity with tools like Prometheus and Grafana for tracking performance.

• GitOps Practices: Proficiency in GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.

• Database Management: Experience managing large-scale databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Postgres).

Bonus Skills

• Experience with large-scale storage systems (e.g., Ceph).
• Proficiency in nginx, Jenkins, and Ansible.
