Senior JavaScript Developer (React Native / Node.js)

Description

We’re looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer to help build and scale our platform used by college sports fans across the U.S.

This is a full-stack role with a stronger focus on frontend and mobile development. Our platform is entirely JavaScript-based, with mobile apps built in React Native, a responsive web application using Next.js, and a backend powered by Node.js with NestJS.

You’ll collaborate with a small engineering team to design and develop features across mobile and web applications while helping ensure performance, scalability, and security.

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native
• Contribute to backend development using Node.js and NestJS
• Build and integrate APIs powering mobile and web applications
• Work with cloud-based services and scalable architectures
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows, including two-factor authentication for mobile devices
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences
• Help improve platform performance, reliability, and scalability
• *Core Requirements

Senior-level experience with JavaScript/TypeScript

Strong experience with React Native

Experience with Node.js and backend frameworks (preferably NestJS)

Experience building and consuming REST APIs

Experience working with cloud services

Experience implementing mobile authentication mechanisms, including two-factor authentication

Experience working with PostgreSQL or relational databases

Strong English communication skills (advanced level)
