Location & Flexibility
This is a hybrid role. This model requires the ability to work in a hybrid mode from our office in Buenos Aires (1 to 2 times/ week). Our office culture is designed to foster in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with team members, local and visiting, from other global offices.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer. The ideal candidate has deep experience with Microservices architecture, GCP environments. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient full stack applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environ
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs following microservices architecture best practices.
- Implement and deploy solutions using tools such as WebLogic, Maven, Jenkins, and GitHub.
- Work with relational databases including Oracle.
- Deploy and manage applications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially GKE.
- Contribute to frontend development using JavaScript and React when required.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery through CI/CD pipelines.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with Java.
- Strong experience with Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with WebLogic, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, and Oracle Database.
- Experience working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly with GKE deployments.
- Experience designing technical solutions and implementing them end-to-end.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- English Level: B2 high or above – Mandatory.
Nice to Have
- Basic or desirable experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript and React
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Campaign/workflow.
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile teams.
- Familiarity with DevOps culture and CI/CD practices
