Sr. DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS experience to join our dynamic technology team at Nybble Group. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure that ensures scalability, reliability, and performance across our solutions. You’ll collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment pipelines, automate processes, and enhance system monitoring.

Success in this role means building robust, efficient environments that enable rapid delivery and high availability.

Responsibilities

● Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, Lambda, etc.).

● Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment and integration.

● Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and visibility.

● Automate provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

● Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and resource usage.

● Ensure best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization in cloud environments.

● Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure or deployment issues efficiently.

Requirements

● 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.

● Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, ECS, CloudWatch, etc.).

● Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

● Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

● Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).

● Solid understanding of networking, security groups, and cloud security best practices.

● Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have

● AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).

● Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch).

● Knowledge of Azure or multi-cloud environments.

● Familiarity with serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway).

● Strong analytical mindset and troubleshooting skills.
