• *About the position**

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a strong support-oriented mindset and hands-on experience in .NET, JavaScript, Python scripting, and SQL. In this role, you will collaborate with the Custom Dev Lead to design, refactor, and maintain scripts and tools that support data preparation, ingestion, and matter management workflows.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across decentralized tooling environments, helping standardize and improve internal utilities while ensuring quality, scalability, and maintainability. This person will also work with SQL databases and third-party eDiscovery platforms to integrate custom solutions into existing workflows.

• *Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Custom Dev Lead to design, refactor, and maintain scripts and tools that support data preparation, ingestion, and matter management workflows.
• Build and contribute to a centralized, version-controlled codebase with clear documentation, error handling, and QA/QC processes.
• Standardize and enhance decentralized tools developed across the practice, ensuring consistent quality, usability, and scalability.
• Work with SQL databases and third-party eDiscovery platforms to integrate custom utilities with existing workflows.
• Support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of internal tools and scripts used in technical and operational processes.
• Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand workflow needs and deliver practical, scalable solutions.
• Operate effectively in a distributed, cross-functional environment while managing assigned tasks with a high level of autonomy.
• *Requirements
• 2–3 years of software engineering or scripting experience, ideally in professional services or technical operations environments.
• Strong proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
• Experience building, maintaining, or enhancing scripts, tools, or workflow automations.
• Practical experience with version control tools such as Git and documentation best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to technical challenges.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with distributed, cross-functional teams
