Despegar is the leading online travel agency (OTA) in Latin America. It provides a broad suite of travel products, including airline tickets, travel packages, hotel bookings and other travel products to over 17 million customers. Among my tasks are:

Peparation of the Business Plan for the region with focus on Brazil. We developed the strategy to be implemented in the country, analyzing the convenience of developing an organic or inorganic growth.
Search and analysis of potential targets to be incorporated to Despegar Group. The search was not limited to the core business of the company, we analyze other OTAs, physical travel agencies, fintech companies and transportation (buses and airlines) among others.
Purchase strategy planning, Due Diligence with our advisors, analysis of the purchasing structure and preparation of necessary documentation (NBO, Infomemos, etc.).
Valuation models with focus on synergies (positive and negative).
Preparation of complex financial analyses and PPT for the Board.

Experiencia

Participation in Corporate Venture Capital project, where I had to analyze the business model of different startups.
I participated in the Public Acquisition Offer (OPA in Spanish) of

Banco Santander Argentina. I was in charge of the valuation model and, together with my assistant, I prepared the corresponding report to be submitted to the CNV.
