Sobre mí

Hello! My name is Sofía Elizabeth Tidona, and I am an Argentinian licensed English teacher, TESOL-certified educator, certified translator, and multilingual language professional with extensive international teaching experience.

For many years, I have worked with students of different ages, levels, and cultural backgrounds, teaching English, Spanish, and other academic subjects both online and in personalized educational settings. I have taught children, teenagers, university students, professionals, and adult learners from countries such as China, Japan, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Israel, and many others.

My teaching approach is student-centered, communicative, and supportive. I enjoy helping learners gain confidence, improve their fluency, and develop meaningful communication skills through engaging and interactive lessons tailored to their needs and interests. I particularly value creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and making progress at their own pace.

In addition to teaching, I am also a certified English–Spanish translator with experience in translation, proofreading, quality control, editing, and academic and professional writing. My areas of expertise include education, business English, legal and technical translation, and intercultural communication.

Throughout my career, I have worked with international educational platforms and institutions, including private academies, corporate environments, and online learning companies. I have also completed numerous professional development courses related to online teaching, blended learning, pedagogy, educational technology, and language instruction.

I am passionate about languages, education, communication, and lifelong learning, and I am always interested in continuing to grow professionally while helping students achieve their goals.
