We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Python Developer for a full-time remote project in the banking sector.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates based in the EU / Europe.

Location: Full remote

Language: English – fluent

Rate: 360 – 400 EUR / MD

Contract type: Freelance / B2B

Responsibilities:

Development and maintenance of scalable backend systems with Python

Design and implementation of RESTful APIs

Building real-time communication solutions, e.g. WebSockets

Integration of AI services and data platforms

Development of machine learning workflows and generative AI solutions, including RAG and Agentic AI

Collaboration with backend, frontend and AI teams

Code reviews, testing and CI/CD optimization

Support with frontend topics in React

Requirements:

Strong Python experience, including OOP and asynchronous programming

Experience with backend and API development

Knowledge of FastAPI, asyncio, aiohttp, SQLAlchemy and PostgreSQL

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD, e.g. Jenkins

Cloud know-how, ideally Azure, including Azure Entra ID

Experience with AI/ML, LLMs, RAG and Agentic AI

Databricks and Vector Search experience is an advantage

Authentication and security experience, especially OAuth2

Basic React knowledge

Experience in agile, cross-functional teams

Strong communication skills and analytical thinking
