Srdjan Bisanovic

I am a senior software developer with 9 years of experience.

In my previous roles, I worked on large-scale systems serving over 3 million users across multiple regions. My work covered both monolithic and microservice architectures, using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, as well as SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Neo4j, ArangoDB, Redis) databases.

Across these projects, I worked with AWS and GCP, configuring a wide range of cloud services using IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. I set up Kubernetes clusters for microservice architectures and built full CI/CD pipelines that updated infrastructure, clusters, and applications in a single flow. I also carried out full-scale migrations from Java EE to Spring and from OpenStack monoliths to cloud-based microservices.

I have always enjoyed fast-paced, agile environments where I could take ownership and improve systems where I saw potential. Earlier in my career, I founded an ed-tech project during my software engineering studies and completed a 9-month incubation program in Austria. This experience gave me practical insight into business, product, and innovation management.
