Role Summary

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to provide development support and enhancements for existing applications while contributing to the delivery of new features.

Working within an Agile team environment, you will be responsible for translating functional and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions across both frontend and backend systems. The role involves building responsive user interfaces, developing APIs, and supporting automated deployment pipelines to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within an Agile team to deliver high-quality features across the full software development lifecycle.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable frontend and backend solutions.
• Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using ReactJS, TypeScript, and modern component libraries.
• Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs using AWS API Gateway.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and consistency.
• Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including automation, testing practices, and development processes.
• Perform other development and support activities as required.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Capabilities & Experience

· Strong experience developing single-page applications using ReactJS and TypeScript.

· Experience working with modern CSS frameworks or component libraries such as Tailwind CSS or similar.

· Experience using Python for AWS CDK development and AWS Lambda functions.

· Strong understanding of the AWS ecosystem, including services such as Cognito, S3, VPC, and CloudFormation.

· Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CDK and GitHub Actions.

· Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway.

· Proficiency with Git version control, including branching strategies and pull request workflows.

· Experience collaborating in Agile environments and contributing to continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

· Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

· Experience working in Agile delivery environments is highly regarded.

· Australian working rights required.
