Full Stack Developer / Backend Developer / Java Developer

Role Description The Full Stack Developer / Backend Developer / Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software applications and backend systems. This role focuses on building reliable, secure, and high-performance solutions that support business operations and user-facing products.

Core responsibilities include developing and maintaining backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and related frameworks. The role involves designing database structures, optimizing queries, and ensuring efficient data flow between systems. It also includes integrating third-party services and maintaining system interoperability across platforms.

When working in a full-stack capacity, the role contributes to front-end development by implementing responsive and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring seamless interaction between client-side and server-side components. The developer participates in system architecture design, technical planning, and code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable codebases.

The position is also responsible for debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues, as well as optimizing application performance and scalability. It supports continuous improvement through refactoring, adopting best practices, and applying modern development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.

Collaboration is a key part of the role, working closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver robust and efficient software solutions aligned with business requirements.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles, with experience in backend development and API design. Understanding of frameworks commonly used in enterprise application development.

Solid knowledge of database systems, including relational databases and SQL, with the ability to design and optimize data models and queries.

Familiarity with full-stack development concepts, including front-end technologies and integration between client and server systems. Understanding of web application architecture and RESTful services.

Experience with version control systems, debugging tools, and software development lifecycle processes. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
