Full Stack Developer
Melbourne | Full Time | Hybrid
We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a growing technology team and a true leader in the field of work.
This is a genuine full stack position, working across C#/.NET backend services and React/Redux front-end applications, with ownership spanning the database, APIs, cloud infrastructure and user interface.
You’ll be joining an environment where engineers have the opportunity to take real ownership of features, contribute to technical decisions and work across a modern AWS-based technology stack.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, build and maintain production-grade applications across the full technology stack
- Develop backend services and APIs using C# and .NET
- Build responsive single-page applications using React and Redux
- Take ownership of features from data storage and backend services through to the user interface
- Design and develop RESTful APIs across multi-tier web applications
- Work with AWS cloud infrastructure including EKS, S3, IAM and VPC networking
- Build and operate containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across integration, UAT and production environments
- Work with PostgreSQL and relational database technologies, including database design and query optimisation
- Implement authentication and authorisation using technologies such as OAuth2, OIDC, Auth0 and Amazon Cognito
- Contribute to automated testing across unit, integration and end-to-end testing
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development and code review practices
- Contribute to the ongoing design, development and improvement of the platform
What you’ll bring
- Strong commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET
- Strong experience building production front-end applications using React and Redux
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of modern full stack application architecture
- Production experience working within AWS environments
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerised applications
- Hands-on experience with Docker and EKS
- Experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- Strong relational database experience, ideally PostgreSQL
- Experience with modern authentication and authorisation architectures
- Good understanding of automated testing practices
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices
