Full Stack Software Developer – React / Node.js / SQL

About the role

You'll play a key part in enhancing and managing a custom built in-house CRM system. In this role, you'll take ownership of a mature system - designing improvements, implementing new features, and ensuring its optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve our custom-built construction CRM
• Design and implement new features and functionality
• Work with MS SQL Server to develop and optimize databases for performance and scalability
• Contribute to the entire technology stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services
• Build and maintain applications using React.js, Redux, Next.js and Node.js
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code to ensure the reliability and performance
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and usability

About You We are looking for someone who is technically strong, proactive and enjoys taking ownership of their work.

Essential experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field is desirable, however, equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining production CRM or enterprise systems
• Proven experience working with React.js and Redux in the front-end codebase
• Experience building and maintaining applications using Next.js
• Strong back-end development experience with Node.js, including integration with caching layers such as Redis
• Solid experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including designing, maintaining, and optimising complex stored procedures
• Working knowledge of Debian Linux, including application deployment, basic server administration, and troubleshooting
• Experience working in teams using Jira for task tracking and Confluence for technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning and implementing new technologies

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mitcham VIC 3132
