Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer (Printer Server Technolgy) to provide technical support and operational assistance for enterprise network infrastructure across a large government environment. You will support both operational and project activities and will involve administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Printer Server Technolgy. The position forms part of a team responsible for maintaining critical government network infrastructure and ensuring services are delivered reliably and securely to agreed service levels.

Duties

Provide support and maintenance for enterprise network infrastructure to agreed service levels

Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of network connections and services

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues through break/fix support and incident management

Support externally provided network services and ensure vendor services meet contractual service levels

Maintain accurate documentation including network configurations, processes and standard operating procedures

Assist with operational and project-based networking activities across wired and wireless environments

Participate in an on-call support roster and occasional after-hours work as required Requirements/Skills Demonstrated experience supporting Printer Server Technology

Experience installing, configuring and maintaining network infrastructure and equipment

Experience working within multi-vendor network environments

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving network issues

Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team environment
