We are seeking a motivated Python Developer Intern who is passionate about software engineering, web development and emerging technologies.

This 12-week internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience working with modern development technologies, including Python, Django, ReactJS and REST APIs, while receiving guidance from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing and maintaining web applications using Python, Django and ReactJS.
• Write clean, efficient and reusable code under developer supervision.
• Support backend development, API creation and database integration.
• Build and update front-end components using ReactJS, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software issues.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, testers and other project stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation for development tasks and application features.

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of Python and web development.
• Familiarity with Django, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, databases and Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Previous academic or personal software development projects will be highly regarded.
