Responsibilities of this role will include:Deliver focused improvements to the operational robustness and profitability of the trading platformContribute to mission-critical projects encompassing everything from trading, pricing, positionsand risk, through to analytics and market connectivityWork flexibly with a focus on real time issues as well as long term projectsPerformance tuning, maximizing throughput and minimizing latencyOngoing consultation with the trading team to understand how technology can best satisfytheir needsWhat you will bring:Core Java focusDevelopment in either C++ or C#A scripting language, preferably pythonExperience working in High Frequency Trading firmExperience working in both Windows and Linux EnvironmentsUnderstanding of network protocolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA genuine interest in financial marketsStrong academic record in a computer science degreeThe Culture:At Nine Mile, we operate in a highly competitive and dynamic environment.
