Software Engineer

About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for a Software Developer to join a large enterprise organisation, contributing to the development and enhancement of critical software applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing software across a range of business-critical applications, working within a large-scale technology environment. The team is undergoing a period of significant technological transformation, providing an opportunity to work with modern approaches to software development, including AI and GenAI.

Working closely with an experienced and collaborative technology team, you'll contribute to the development of modern software solutions while working within a complex enterprise environment. This role would suit a mid-level or junior-mid developer who is passionate about software development and looking to grow their experience within a large technology team.

This is an initial 12-month contract with potential for extension, offering the opportunity to contribute to a significant technology transformation while developing your experience within a large-scale enterprise environment.

You Should Have

• Commercial experience in software development
• Strong C# / .NET development experience
• Strong React development experience
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise systems
• Understanding of modern software development practices
• Ability to work effectively within a complex enterprise environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Passion for software development and willingness to learn
• Ability to take ownership and grow within the role
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working within a large and complex technology environment

Technical Requirements

Must Have

• C# / .NET
• React
• Commercial software development experience
• Experience working with large-scale systems
• Modern software development experience
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance business-critical software applications
• Develop applications using C# / .NET and React
• Contribute to the ongoing adoption of AI, GenAI and modern software development approaches
• Work within a large-scale enterprise software environment
• Collaborate closely with Developers and other technology teams
• Contribute to the design, development and delivery of software solutions
• Work within established enterprise processes, standards and technical constraints
• Identify opportunities to improve software development practices and solutions
• Support the ongoing enhancement of existing applications and platforms
• Contribute to broader technology initiatives as priorities evolve

Working Arrangements

• Hybrid working arrangement
• Perth-based

Contract & Benefits
