I’ve always had a deep connection to the natural world, especially the ocean. Growing up by the coast, I spent much of my life in and around the water — diving, surfing, and later working as an eco guide on whale watching tours, where I loved sharing the wonder of marine life with others. That passion for the ocean also sparked my broader commitment to protecting our environment on land, from native bushland to iconic Australian wildlife.
Now, as an Environmental Conservation Officer, I get to combine both worlds — supporting biodiversity conservation, habitat restoration, and community engagement across land and sea. I’m a positive and driven person who thrives on collaboration and problem-solving, and I’m motivated by finding practical, meaningful ways to protect the places and species that make our region unique.
Outside of work, I stay connected to nature through running, surfing, and spending time outdoors. Living sustainably and caring for the environment is not just part of my career, but part of who I am.
Motivated environmental professional with local government experience in conservation planning, ecological assessments, and community engagement. With a Bachelor’s in Marine Science and a Master’s in Environmental Science, I’m passionate about marine conservation, biodiversity, and sustainability. I’ve contributed to koala conservation, habitat restoration, and coastal projects, and am skilled in interpreting environmental policy, spatial analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.
Proficient in ArcGIS and ecological data management, I’m committed to delivering sustainable outcomes and supporting impactful conservation efforts.
