Achievements:
Developed methods and processes to ensure quality, sustainability and reliability in the data analysis and fraud alerting processes. Built a culture of customer-focused service in the team. Balanced the needs of stability and control and the need for agility. My team performed IT services outside the usual box of IT processes allowing rapid development, deployment and tailored solutions for fraud analytics.
Key Highlights:
- Designed a secure method for immediate deployment of new fraud detection rules to the Unix production environment, resolving an impasse between business and IT. This method was used 149 times, saving days in the IT change process and enabling rapid response to fraud threats.
- Developed a method for quick detection and SMS notification of any problem arising on the multiple Windows platforms.
- Developed measurements showing resource consumption of each Unix process. This provided far greater insight into the causes of CPU and platform performance issues.
- Worked with IT to migrate to SAS 9.4 on Unix and then a complete re-platforming to Linux.
