- Participates in internal and external audits and ensures accurate incident reporting is provided to management in line with company procedures.
- Covers forklift operations when attendance falls short and coaches empty handler and reach stacker operators on safe operation, task sequencing, priorities, and cutting wasted moves.
- Manages yard capacity across import, export, and empty streams — maintaining container locations, enforcing safe stacking standards, and planning yard layout to prevent congestion and maximise operational flow.
- Oversees container handling equipment maintenance schedules to ensure all forklifts and yard equipment are kept to safe operating standards and operational availability is maintained.
