TradeStart Export Adviser The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) 🇦🇺 TradeStart is an Australian Government initiative that delivers Austrade services through local public sector and industry organisations throughout Australia. Inwards and outwards movements were both intercompany and to arms length suppliers and customers, with our major export markets being New Zealand, South Pacific Islands, Asia and South America.
Within 6 months of joining, the company was to move from Rosebery (close to the Ports of Sydney and Botany as well as the Airport) to Toongabbie in Western Sydney. Responsible for analysing the clearance and delivery needs of varied product ranges and formulate a workable logistics strategy for imports and exports.
Worked co-operatively with departments such as Purchasing, Warehousing, Production, Sales and Marketing and Distribution.
