Mark Walker

I am a professional basketball coach for over 30 years and author of an original system basketball instruction book. I have coached over 7000 games at various levels and have coached 2 Australian teams and many international teams. I have had the most diversified career of any coach in the country and won Australia's first Paralympic gold medal in wheelchair basketball.

Applying for my Master of coaching certificate and the sport is my passion. I have had the honor of building many programs including my own club of which has a sizeable Honor Board including NBA star Josh Giddey.

Elite 30 year professional coach with over 7000 games coached from grassroots, disabilities, elite junior and senior teams. Currently writing a second book and my body of work shows I move every team and program in a positive direction and in some cases creating ground breaking history.

I will be applying for my Master coaching certificate through Basketball Australia. 30 plus years, over 7000 games coached, over 40 thousand hours on the training court. I also taught a basketball course for Swinburne University.
