Hello, I’m Markus, an Advanced Computer Science undergraduate at Adelaide University. I have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Software Development.
I am a Computer Science (Advanced) student majoring in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Adelaide with hands-on experience in research, full-stack development, and team leadership.
As a Research Student at the Australian Institute of Machine Learning, I simulated copolymerization reactions to compute reactivity ratios and contributed to high-performance computing (HPC) simulations for solid-state battery research.
I have built multiple full-stack applications using Next.js, React, MongoDB, and cloud services, including a hackathon project focused on AI-powered solutions. I also have experience applying machine learning and statistical modelling to real-world datasets.
Beyond technical work, I have led media and design teams, managed cross-functional collaboration, and delivered projects under tight deadlines, demonstrating both strong communication and teamwork skills.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science (Advanced) at the University of Adelaide, majoring in Artificial Intelligence, with a GPA of 6.81/7.00. My studies focus on algorithms, data structures, operating systems, databases, probability, and statistics, providing a strong theoretical and practical foundation in computer science and machine learning.
In addition, I have completed the Machine Learning Specialisation by DeepLearning.AI and an Introduction to Statistics course by Stanford University, strengthening my expertise in machine learning models, statistical analysis, and data-driven problem solving.
