My research within Professor David Ascher's BioSig Lab centers on building Python-based pipelines to run discordant analyses on high-dimensional genomic data; specifically comparing state-of-the-art transformer architectures like Meta's ESM-1b and DeepMind's AlphaMissense for ABCA4 mutation classification. I design end-to-end workflows incorporating robust feature selection, strict data leakage mitigation, and comprehensive error analysis during model training and evaluation.

I leverage Explainable AI (XAI) tools like SHAP to decode model decisions, while actively expanding my production engineering toolkit in Docker containerisation, AWS cloud architecture, Bash automation, and advanced Git version control.
