Matthew Stephenson

I qualified in vehicle mechanics in 1994, since then I have progressed from a tipper driver to foreman where I have worked alongside the Transport Workshop Manager. Having spent part of my career as the workshop manager I have gained a wealth of experience in my career. I have been loyal to MJ Church and the management team.

I am a firm believer of teamwork and have demonstrated positive leadership in my day to day role and responsibilities. I can adapt to ensure deadlines are met ensuring my team are supported and encouraged to meet their full potential, whilst ensuring the outcomes and objectives of the industry and business are met. I have a strong work ethos where I pride myself on being honest and supportive to my team, I follow the rules and code of conduct, I am flexible, punctual, reliable and I have always taken my responsibilities seriously to ensure the smooth running of the workshop and I actively support my team to ensure they feel valued.

I am a creative thinker and take a logical approach to problem solving. When met with a challenge I can be proactive to ensure it becomes a learning curve for personal and professional development. Recently I was one of six men selected to have the opportunity to work in the Falkland Islands for a project commissioned by Agility.
