Merwin Vincent

I am a Master of Architecture graduate from the University of Sydney, Australia, with nearly two years of professional experience working on architectural projects in India. I have strong exposure to heritage conservation, architectural design, documentation with skills in developing parametric workflows using Rhinoceros 3D and Grasshopper, alongside the Adobe Creative Suite, to effectively communicate design ideas. My interests lie in design-led practice, conservation and restoration, computational methodologies, and translating conceptual ideas into resolved architectural outcomes.

I am eager to pursue architectural opportunities that foster professional growth and design excellence in architecture.

During my practical experience, I have worked on construction documentation for two brownfield projects involving the restoration and adaptive reuse of heritage buildings. This experience deepened my appreciation for balancing design interventions within the existing built fabric. Additionally, I have worked on residential buildings utlising BIM, and have also significant experience with Rhino + grasshopper, and I refine my parametric design skills by incorporating computational methodologies to experiment and explore diverse design iterations.

Overall, my professional role demanded precision and versatility, giving me experience in site documentation and coordinating technical drawings with cross-disciplinary consultants.
