Michael O’Neill

BA Hons Business Studies graduate specialising in financial services/banking operations as well as possessing a strong sales and account management background.

Having initially spent my post graduate time in sales roles, gaining very valuable account and relationship management experience, I have since established myself in the financial services sector working in front and middle office of top Investment banks such as CITI and MUFG.

I am moving to Sydney on 27/12/23 and am seeking employment within an operations role in financial services.

To sum up the roles quickly:

My current role is Associate at MUFG Investor Services in Dublin. This is mid-back office role that mainly involves the reconciliation of cash/positions/CA’s on various funds (along with various other role responsibilities) to hand over to NAV teams.

Prior to that, as Operations Analyst at CITI my main responsibility was handling inbound and outbound repo coupon claims for a list of clients. This mainly involved the agreement and settlement of these claims and then the internal reconciliation of the claims.

My most recent qualification was BA Business Studies from Liverpool John Moores University.

Before that I had completed a Foundation Degree in Leadership and Management at University of Ulster.
