Dedicated and detail-oriented life sciences graduate with a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) from Flinders University, a master's in biotechnology from India, and hands-on laboratory experience in both industrial and clinical research settings. Currently volunteering on a bioinformatics project while actively seeking a Research Assistant opportunity in a well-established laboratory to build a career in research. Comparing biomarker capability of free floating circular RNA (circRNA) vs Extracellular vesicles (EVs) enclosed circRNA for liquid biopsy studies in cancer research

• Hands-on experience on EVs isolation using Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), qualitative analysis of EVs presence via Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) and ELISA, and bioinformatic analysis of circular RNAs using specialist databases
• Processed and handled clinical human biofluid samples (pleural effusion, saliva) under strict biosafety protocols

Genome Wide Exploration of ATP Dependent Chromatin Remodelers of Human Malaria Parasite Plasmodium falciparum

• My hands-on experience on extraction, comparative analysis of physiochemical properties, and phylogenetic analysis of ATP-dependent chromatin remodelers in P. falciparum and Homo sapiens using bioinformatics softwares like PlasmoDB, HostDB, NCBI-BLAS
• I got exposure of maintaining P. falciparum parasite cultures using human RBC cell lines, visualizing different stages of parasite, subculturing parasites, and performing quality control on the cell lines

Laboratory Assistant at The Wine Group (TWG) (2024-02 – 2025-02)

• Performed quantitative and analytical testing on wines, juices, concentrates and on LSJ (Low sugar juices)
