Extensive exposure to SAG mills, ball mills, rotating equipment, lifting operations, confined space work and high risk maintenance activities. Mill Relining Technician at XP Maintenance (2019 – Present)

• Perform mill relining tasks on SAG, AG and ball mills across major mining operations across Australia and Overseas.
• Work alongside mechanical fitters, planners, supervisors and maintenance teams during shutdowns.
• Assist with inspection and replacement of mill liners, grinding media and associated components.
• Utilise dogging and rigging techniques to safely lift, move and position mill liners and heavy plant equipment.
• Operate within strict permit-to-work systems including confined space and working at heights environments.
• Support maintenance activities involving large scale rotating equipment and fixed plant assets.
• Followed maintenance procedures, isolation requirements and site safety standards.
• Participated in pre-start meetings, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Performed maintenance support and mill relining activities on fixed plant assets.
• Worked within international teams while maintaining high safety standards.
• Worked in FIFO style environments alongside multinational work crews.
