Former Youth Worker & Commercial cleaner looking for an opportunity to jump back into the workforce after COVID and taking leave to complete my little family
Youth Support Worker - Residential ‘Out Of Home Care’ for Southern Youth & Family Services - Wollongong. I worked here for 3 Years from 2012 - 2015. Chasing more opportunities and experience gained employment with EVERYDAY CareSouth in Berkeley. for 12 months I got comfortable with my position as a drop-in support worker, I enjoyed being out in the field. an opening became available in the Shoalhaven Area with Everyday Caresouth in Disabilities. outreach and drop-in support.
I spent the following year working between two services Nowra in disabilities and Berkeley Drop in support. I was enjoying a mixture of job opportunities and experience . This employment, unfortunately, doesn't have a happy ending.
I was assaulted by a client on shift and had tires on my car slashed. I developed work-related anxiety, & burnout and unknowingly started to make little mistakes which in turn resulted termination of my employment. I debated about putting the termination here on my professional experience, as it may go against my chances of employment. my employment with Everyday Caresouth for 2 years was the best on-the-job learning experience.
Diversity with clients of all walks of life abilities and disabilities. I don't regret a thing. When I reflect now, I do wish I had taken personal care time. because it wasn't just a job for me. It was a passion. 2015 -2017.
from 2017-2019 I went in a whole different direction.

Construction Cleaning Employment.
Cleaning of newly built homes - Pre-sale Removal of all remaining tradesman rubbish building materials. Polish floor & wall tiles, shower screens, mirrors, basins, and tap wear. Wipe down doors, cupboards, wardrobes, pantry, linen, bench tops, windows ceil. Remove dirt debris from all sliding door tracks and window tracks. Clean windows external & internal. Vacuum mop, power wash concrete entry, and courtyard area.
