I’m a passionate and proactive cyber security graduate from Edith Cowan University (ECU), majoring in Cyber Security, with hands-on experience in SOC operations, log analysis, threat detection, and ethical hacking. With a strong technical foundation and a relentless drive to learn, I’m actively seeking opportunities in SOC analysis, security operations, and junior penetration testing roles.
My journey into cyber security started with a Diploma in Computing & IT at ECC, where I built foundational programming and systems skills. Since then, I've gained exposure to:
SOC Tools & Threat Analysis: Built custom dashboards using Splunk, analyzed security events, and monitored systems for anomalies.
Penetration Testing: Simulated real-world attacks in Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges using tools like Nmap, Gobuster, Nikto, and Metasploit.
GRC & Compliance: Gained a strong understanding of frameworks like ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and NIST through coursework and project work.
Programming & Automation: Developed basic scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Bash to automate security tasks and analyze data.
Cloud & Certs: Currently pursuing Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals to deepen my cloud security knowledge.
