I am a second year Bachelor of Commerce student at Curtin University, majoring in Business Law with a specialisation in Taxation Law. I have a strong interest in commercial law, particularly taxation and contract law, and enjoy applying structured, methodical approaches to problem-solving. Originally from regional Western Australia, I have developed strong adaptability, initiative and communication skills through my educational journey.
While I am at the beginning of my professional career, I am a confident and capable learner with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a genuine enthusiasm for developing practical legal experience in a business law environment.
While I do not yet have direct experience working within the legal profession, I have developed strong transferable skills through my employment history.
August 2024, I have worked as a casual bartender at Faradays, where I have gained experience in customer service, communication, time management and working effectively under pressure. Throughout my studies, I have consistently balanced multiple employment commitments alongside university, demonstrating a strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to manage competing responsibilities. I am eager to apply these skills in a professional legal environment and am confident in my ability to learn quickly and contribute positively to a business law firm.
Here is a breif rundown of my previous employment:
Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School (2023)
Curtin University (Expected Graduation 2027)
