J
OB Opportunity (Node.js & TypeScript Developer (Python)
We are representing a highly established, US-based technology company that has been operating profitably for over a decade. The company specializes in building custom enterprise software and a proprietary multi-module SaaS platform for mid-market North American B2B businesses, manufacturers, and distributors.
Please note: The hiring company’s name is kept confidential during this active transition period, but full transparency (company name, product details, and client context) will be provided to candidates who reach the interview stage.
Why This Role Stands Out
Top engineers often have to choose between the stability of local agencies and the risk of freelance foreign contracts. This role offers the best of both worlds:
- True Ownership, Not Outsourcing: This is a permanent, full-time position where you report directly to the US product team. You will have genuine ownership over your work rather than just closing tickets.
- Legal Protections & Stability: You will be employed through a fully compliant structure in Bangladesh, ensuring legal protections, local tax compliance, and benefits.
- AI-Native Workflow: We do not treat AI as a novelty. You will use tools like Claude Code daily for code generation, documentation, and review, placing you at the cutting edge of modern software engineering.
- High-Stakes Engineering: The software you build will serve as the operational backbone for massive US supply chain and commerce companies.
What You Will Do
You will operate as a generalist engineer within a defined stack, contributing to both an internal cloud-native SaaS product and custom client integrations.
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend microservices and RESTful APIs using Node.js/TypeScript or Python/FastAPI.
- Design advanced, multi-tenant schema patterns and query PostgreSQL databases.
- Engineer event-driven workflows utilizing AWS messaging and queue services (EventBridge, SQS, SNS).
- Build structured connectors to integrate complex third-party platforms, including ERP systems, eCommerce engines, and external data APIs.
- Manage shared cloud infrastructure, including caching, search, file storage, and API gateways.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (like Claude Code) daily to accelerate coding, refactoring, and documentation.
- Collaborate asynchronously with US-based Solutions Architects via Linear, while proactively participating in code reviews and maintaining strict engineering standards.
