Job Title: Remote Software Developer (Python/Django, Linux, AWS)

$400–$700 USD per month

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team remotely. This role is critical in developing and maintaining Python/Django applications while seamlessly deploying and managing them on AWS infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable applications using Python and Django.
- Seamlessly deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on AWS.
- Work on Linux environments for development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with the Chief Architect to implement best practices in software development.
- Migrate existing Visual Basic and Lightswitch applications to Python/Django.
- Manage existing code base during code transition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies for project management and software delivery.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements:
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.
- Solid experience with Linux operating systems for development and deployment.
- Hands-on experience deploying applications on AWS and managing cloud-based environments.
- Strong understanding of application scalability, optimization, and maintenance.
- Proven problem-solving skills in software application development.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate in a remote working environment.
- Familiarity with SDLC processes and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Visual Basic and Lightswitch for legacy application migration.
- Working knowledge of Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience in microservice architecture.
- Experience in addressing bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
