Your Role:

As a Web Developer at StrategyByte, you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining custom-coded websites that meet client needs and exceed expectations. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team of designers and marketers to deliver exceptional digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom-coded websites that align with client requirements and industry best practices.
• Updates & Maintenance: Regularly update and enhance client websites, ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and user experience.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and design teams to integrate functionality with visual elements seamlessly.
• SEO Implementation: Optimise websites for search engines, enhancing visibility, rankings, and organic traffic.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct website performance reviews and implement improvements to boost speed, responsiveness, and SEO.
• Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest web technologies, programming trends, and SEO best practices.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

Were looking for a detail-oriented developer who thrives in a remote setup and loves tackling challenges with creativity and precision.

• Education: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a reputed university in Bangladesh.
• Experience: 1/2 years in a similar role with a portfolio showcasing custom-coded projects.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one backend programming language (e.g., PHP, Python).
  • Experience with Node.js, React, and MongoDB for modern web application development.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and e-commerce solutions.
  • Basic proficiency in wireframing and design tools such as Figma.
  • Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to ensure websites are inclusive and usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console), and optimisation techniques.
  • Experience in website optimisation methods, including improving page speed and responsiveness.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and use digital tools and platforms.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
