During my internship with Dhaka Tribune's Brand and Marketing Department, I conducted market research to gain insights on target audiences and competitors. I collaborated with cross-functional teams such as editorial, design, and advertising to ensure cohesive branding. I supported the brand and marketing team with other projects and tasks as needed.
I managed direct communication with high-profile clients and arranged roundtable discussions at five-star hotels. I communicated with large corporations for sponsorship for DT shows and managed high-profile webinars. I was responsible for hiring project-based ushers for events and overseeing their work.
I was also part of the planning teams of many programs during my time.
As a Product Development and Corporate Sales Intern at Green Fields Jutex, I assisted the sales team in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. I conducted market research and analyzed data to identify potential customers and target markets. I participated in sales meetings, presentations, and conference calls.
I built and maintained relationships with clients and partners. I tracked sales and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies. I supported the sales team in achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the company.
During my time there, I developed 10 new jute products in 2 existing and 5 new categories. I conducted meetings for corporate sales and worked with 9 pharmaceutical companies.
I consider myself an effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills. I am also a people-centric person who enjoys working in a team environment. I am passionate about marketing and am eager to develop my skills in areas such as digital marketing, market research, and data analysis. My goal is to become a leading expert in the field of marketing and continuously improve my skills through ongoing learning and proven work experience.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from North South University. Throughout my academic career, I gained a strong foundation in marketing principles and strategies, including market research, branding, product development, and advertising.
During my studies, I also had the opportunity to participate in various extracurricular activities, such as organizing and managing events and competitions, which further developed my skills in project management, teamwork, and communication.
Additionally, I have taken several online courses and certifications to keep myself up to date with the latest marketing trends and practices, such as Creating Impactful Brands and Effective Marketing Strategies on Coursera.
