Afsana Sharmeen

Throughout my more than 8 years of Teaching carrier, I have honour and developed skill set relevant to teach western Australian curriculums and Cambridge Curriculum. I have consistently developed leadership, organisational and communications abilities in every aspect of my role as an School Teacher.

Australian International School ( November 2017 to current)

• Organized and coordinated the MYP Personal Project Exhibition and MYP

Graduation Ceremony.

• Mentored the English faculty of MYP for the official IB Authorization
• Trained Year 10 students for the interview with the visiting IB personnel
• Supervised and evaluated Yearly 10 students’ for IB MYP Personal Projects
• Appointed as MYP Head of English
• Designed and oversaw MYP English unit plans aligned with the IB and WACE (Western Australian Certificate of Education) curriculum standards
• Supported and mentored students with Special

Educational Needs including EAL.
