Now I have been working in a Denmark based Multinational Company (DSV GLOBAL TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS) here in Dhaka branch as a Sea fright officer (export) for last three year.
Co-ordination and communication with various parties (including customers, overseas agents, etc.).
faxing or emailing B/L / documents to Shipper, etc.
Ensure smooth running for Frontline and Backend for export.
Liaise with customers, carriers, transporters and overseas agents to ensure smooth shipment.
Response time for booking and replay of confirmation to shipper should be within 2 hours.
Efficient and smooth handling of shipments – create export job on CW1 system, and pre alert to customer, and collection for delivery and co-coordinating with sub-contractors for transportation arrangement, billing, input costs, track & trace events, updating of customers KPI.
Processing shipments in CW1 software and perform data entry related to sea shipment. I can prepare more than on average 400 HBL in a month.
