I have fourteen years of experience in managing projects, program monitoring and evaluation, providing capacity development and policy support, implementation research, training & communication, mixed-methods research, qualitative research, health system strengthening & advocacy with different levels of local government. I have completed MSS in Anthropology from Jahangirnagar University as well as achieved a post graduate diploma in Development Planning from National Academy for Planning & Development.
My current engagement with the Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP) as a Technical Expert (Training, Monitoring & Evaluation) under the MIS unit. Here I am responsible to develop quarterly & yearly implementation plan, assist to developing software FWA & FWV eRegister, monitoring dashboard, reviewing the performance of emis and providing feedback to the district and upazila level managers, monitoring visit & impact assessment, program implementation, preparing progress report and presentation, produce of user manuals, facilitators guides, liaise with MOHFW officials, local government bodies, partner management, facilitating training on emis & FPDHIS2, facilitating ToT for the managers and organizing meetings & workshops. Previously I worked with icddrb for nine years & also a number of national organizations with different responsibilities. I was involved with a study in icddrb for two years titled “Understanding the role of community in preventing early marriage and early child-bearing: an exploratory study” where I closely worked with the adolescents & their guardians and relevant stakeholders. In the project I was involved in preparing questionnaires, conducting interviews, liaise maintaining, data analysis and report writing. I have a clear concept on child marriage programming, adolescents and youth, sexual and reproductive health of young people and gender issues including SGBV . I presented a scientific paper based on case stories titled “Timely referral by the CSBAs save pregnant women in rural Bangladesh '' in the ‘International Conference of Health in East Asia’ in Indonesia in 2012. Project proposal writing, management of quantitative household surveys, qualitative study conduct, data analysis through SPSS, nvivo, atlas-ti and report writing are my strengths as a development professional .
I am capable of dealing/engaging with senior and high-ranking officials/representatives of national and international institutions, having advanced knowledge on computer applications for data analysis, critical thinking, speaking & writing skills in English, report writing and preparing presentations.
