Customer/Buyer Management: Handling accounts for various international buyers (MARKS & SPENCER PLC. JCREW OPERATING CORP. MANGO. RED TAPE (MIRZA INTL.). ADITTA BIRLA, RIVER ISLAND, LPP S.A. ENGELBERT STRAUSS, ASOS, LEVI'S) and acting as a team lead to liaison between buyer and internal teams.
Export Operations: Managing all aspects of export shipments (road, sea, air) to various destinations, including booking, documentation, and coordination with logistics partners (shipping lines, freight forwarders). This includes updating systems like ORACLE CMS.
Financial Management: Ensuring proper financial documentation, reconciling discrepancies, negotiating with banks and customers on financial matters, preparing debit/credit notes, and ensuring compliance with credit guidelines (ISBP). This includes managing payment repatriation and remittance.
Documentation and Compliance: Preparing and scrutinizing export documents, ensuring compliance with international banking standards, and systematically posting data to customer software/portals.
Reporting and Analysis: Preparing monthly/annual business data reports and projections for customers and management.
Risk Management: Claim Register (CAF) Sales/ return register/ data Debit / Credit notes prepared during the period of shipment and documentations for the reduces risks & cost.
Teamwork: Functioning as a team member with leading within the Commercial Department to deliver a full range of export services.
