Prodip Barmon

Greetings from me Sir / Madam,

First of all, thanks a lot to giving me this opportunity to introduce myself. I'm Prodip Barmon and am Civil engineer background.

Since, My career start up, I've implemented several Humanitarian program which most relevant to Shelter and WASH, Cash distribution, Cash based intervention, Emergency Relief distribution, Joint needs assessment in emergency situation and recovery program with several humanitarian organization (e.g.; ICRC, IFRC, German Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity International, Terre dess hommes) and have more than 14 years experience on this sector.

I'd also like to share my strong side of professionalism that are my sincerity, honesty, perseverance, loyalty, hard working and dedication to the organization I work for to achieve the intended goal and objective.

I feel confident and do believe that, my willingness to serve an organization where i can find my peace of mind to serve for humanity through an organization.

1.  German Red Cross, Senior Officer - Coordinator,Bangladesh Delegation. The roles and responsibility - Since, 2018 and till 2023, I'm working with this organization and implemented 4 several project (e.g., Cash distribution, Shelter and Wash program including cash, DRR and urban DRR program). 
2. International Committee of the Red Cross, WATER and HABITAT officer, Bangladesh Delegation. The roles and responsibility - Since 2015 to April 2018, I've worked with ICRC and was the part Rohingya refugee program, WASH improvement in detention/jail.
3. German Red Cross, Technical Officer -Shelter and WASH,Bangladesh Delegation. since 2013 to August 2015, I've work and implemented 2 shelter and WASH projects including cash distribution for Cyclone recovery program.
4. Terre des hommes, Water and Sanitation Officer, Bangladesh delegation.since July 2011 to October 2013 I've worked with this organization. Improving water and sanitation for the vulnerable community people. 
5. Habitat for Humanity International, Construction Coordinator, Bangladesh Delegation. the main responsibility to coordinate all the humanitarian construction work with the partner organization, Technical guidance and collaboration among all the respective stakeholder. reporting and necessary strategic operational plan. since Feb 2010 to August 2011.
6. International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Construction Officer, Bangladesh delegation, the main responsibilities i'v covered that are constructing of core shelter for the Cyclone SIDR affected people including cash distribution. since January 2009 to December 2009.
7. Habitat for Humanity International, Construction Supervisor, Bangladesh Delegation. The main responsibilities I've covered to assist to the Christian Aid Ministry - American based volunteer team to mobilize, affected household selection, construction and guidance to them about security and communication focal between beneficiary and team to construction core shelter for Cyclone SIDR recovery program. since March 2008 to December 2008. 

1. Bachelor of Science of Civil Engineering - this is my ongoing study and running 2nd years.
2. Completed the masters level short course on " Shelter and Settlement in Emergencies- Natural disaster. with IFRC along with Oxford Brookes Univeristy.
3. Completed 4 years Diploma in Civil Engineering.
4. Completed Secondary School Certificate - Church of God High School.
