Talokdar Lokman

I am ISPO Category-I Prosthetist & Orthotist Professional. I have 10.4 years working experience as a ISPO Category-II professional with renowned Organization (national and international) with multidisciplinary team. I worked at International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC-Bangladesh) as an Ortho-Prosthetist from January 2020 to 21st December 2022.

In my career I have always been driven to balance between expected outcomes and full satisfaction of beneficiaries. I also used to provide required weekly, monthly and yearly report to my manager. I have an analytical mind and I am very much a team player who thrives in a stimulating and dynamic environment.

I possess good communication skills, verbal and written. My goal is to continue supporting to the beneficiaries, sharing knowledge with colleagues, learning from colleagues and developing my expertise in my future role.

From the 1st year of my professional life, I am working in rehabilitation field directly. In my last job at ICRC, my prime responsibilities were to support partner staff of ICRC to improve their skill and knowledge to serve in a best way for the person with disabilities. I also worked at the community level to identify beneficiaries and refer them to Physical Rehabilitation Centre for their Prosthesis and Orthosis services.

Further more, working in different context and culture would support my other two career goals by adding to my skills, both critical and creative, in working with Service user.
