What you'll do
- Work on infrastructure projects for the design of motorways, regional roads, roads, bridges, tunnels in an urban environment, public spaces, tram, metro projects, etc. in Belgium
- Coordinate the structural design/drawings in our (infrastructure) projects, ensuring the development of a design study based on the general guidelines established by the Structural Design Engineer.
- Ensure the functional management of a team dedicated to one field of expertise (guidelines for the BIM modelers).
- Deliver the graphical documents (models and drawings)
- Coordinate with the architectural, structural and the technical design
- Responsible for the timing and quality of the BIM Model and execution documents.
- Together with the Design Engineer (technical contact), participate in meetings with the client or contractors to provide/obtain technical information.
- Work together with colleagues, external partners (such as architects, other design and engineering consultancies, contractors during the construction phase, etc.) and clients in a constructive way
- Collaborate with our offices abroad for certain modelling tasks and take the necessary actions to guarantee the required quality
Who we're looking for
- Bachelor degree or master degree in civil engineering
- Minimum 10 years of REVIT experience in structural design projects in BIM environment. Preferably experience with infrastructure projects (tunnels and bridges).
- Expertise of Civil 3D is a plus.
- Experience with parametric design
- Fluent in Dutch and good knowledge of English.?Knowledge of other languages is welcome
- Client oriented - show the BIM model to the customer
- Able to work remotely within a team spread over 4 sites in Belgium and also in Romania
