Databricks Engineer

Develop are looking for an experienced Databricks Engineer to join a large-scale data programme on an initial 6-month contract.

The role will be hybrid in Brussels and will suit someone with strong hands-on Databricks experience within enterprise environments.

What you’ll be working on:

• Building and developing solutions in Databricks
• Designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines
• Working extensively with Spark / PySpark
• Supporting data transformation and migration initiatives
• Developing modern data lake and lakehouse solutions
• Working closely with Data Engineers, Architects and wider technology teams
• Improving performance, reliability and scalability across the data platform

What we’re looking for:

• Strong commercial experience with Databricks
• Hands-on experience with Python / PySpark
• Experience building ETL / ELT pipelines
• Strong understanding of lakehouse architecture and modern data platforms
• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP
• Comfortable working independently within a contract environment

Contract: Initial 6 months, likely to extend
