Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled System Administrator / DevOps Engineer to maintain and support our critical platform, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance. The role involves managing a complex Linux-based environment, improving automation processes, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain and support a critical production platform with high availability requirements
- Manage and administer a complex Linux stack including Oracle, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and business applications
- Improve and maintain automated deployment processes using Ansible, Docker, and Jenkins
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in production environments
- Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate with product teams and a Center of Expertise team to enhance platform performance and stability
- Ensure system monitoring, performance optimization, and continuous improvement
What You Bring:
- Strong experience in DevOps/Linux system administration
- Hands-on experience with scripting (Bash and Python)
- Solid experience with Ansible and Docker
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD processes
- Good knowledge of Oracle databases
- Familiarity with Kafka and Elasticsearch is a strong plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams
- Experience in high-availability or production-critical environments
