Embedded Android Developer

One of our clients is looking for an English-speaking Embedded Android Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret product requirements to create detailed specifications and architectural designs.
• Participate in a scrum team focused on the Clickshare product line.
• Develop both back-end logic and contemporary user interfaces.
• Enhance performance, reliability, and efficient use of system resources.
• Work closely with testers to resolve outstanding issues.
• Monitor and address bugs, ensuring timely fixes.
• Document software modules comprehensively.
• Assist in planning development efforts by estimating work and time requirements.
• *Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a software development-related field
• Kotlin/Java and C++
• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing embedded software/firmware on Android and applications.
• Experience with embedded software/firmware on Linux is advantageous.
• Experience in some of the following..
• Python
• Android low level OS
• Knowledge of MDEP
• Embedded Android internals
• Linux low level OS
• Network communication (TCP/UDP…)
• Multi-threading (thread safety mechanisms…)
• Agile (scrum, kanban, safe, less, …)
• Git and/or Svn, CI/CD, TDD, automation
• Video/Audio processing, codecs, OpenGL / Gstreamer, Qt, Android media framework
• Security
• DevOps and infrastructure
