Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Java & Angular Developer with 10–12 years of professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across both Java back-end development and Angular front-end development, with a solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, security, cloud deployment, and modern development practices.
The candidate will work closely with technical and business stakeholders and may take technical ownership of projects, features, or development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack web applications.
- Develop front-end application architecture using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Design responsive and user-friendly web interfaces and interactions.
- Develop robust back-end applications and services using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Implement complex business logic and enterprise application workflows.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and other integration services.
- Design and implement database structures, queries, data models, and persistence layers.
- Work extensively with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL.
- Participate in software architecture, technical design, and development of scalable enterprise applications.
- Apply enterprise design patterns, architectural principles, and clean-code practices.
- Develop and maintain data processing pipelines and data-intensive applications.
- Implement appropriate application security, authentication, authorization, and data-protection mechanisms.
- Deploy and maintain applications using modern cloud and container-based technologies.
- Participate in CI/CD automation, build, deployment, and release processes.
- Analyse existing code, processes, and data to troubleshoot issues and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure code integrity, maintainability, organisation, and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
- Take technical leadership of projects, modules, or development activities when required.
- Prepare and maintain clear and structured technical documentation.
- Participate actively in technical meetings and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Keep up to date with evolving technologies and enterprise software-development practices.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Front-End
- Excellent knowledge of Angular and TypeScript.
- Very good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience designing responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web applications.
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture and component-based development.
- Experience with Angular services, routing, forms, RxJS, state management, and REST API integration.
Back-End
- Excellent knowledge of Java, preferably Java 11 .
- Strong experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
- Excellent knowledge of JPA/Hibernate.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and enterprise application development.
- Excellent understanding of enterprise design patterns and application architecture.
- Experience developing scalable, modular, and maintainable back-end services.
Database & Data
- Very good knowledge of SQL.
- Strong experience with Oracle and/or MySQL.
- Experience with database design, data modelling, optimisation, and complex queries.
- Experience developing data processing pipelines and data-intensive applications.
APIs & Integration
- Excellent knowledge of REST API design and development.
- Experience with enterprise application integration and interoperable systems.
- Understanding of API security, authentication, authorisation, and data protection.
Cloud, DevOps & Deployment
- Very good knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-based application deployment.
- Experience with application deployment, containers, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Very good knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience with Git or other code versioning tools such as SVN.
- Familiarity with automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
Security & Quality
- Strong understanding of application security and secure coding practices.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorisation, secure API development, and data protection.
- Ability to apply high-quality software engineering standards.
- Experience with code reviews, automated testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
Specific Expertise The candidate should demonstrate:
- At least 5 years of specific professional experience in Java — minimum competence level 5.
- At least 5 years of specific professional experience in JPA/Hibernate — minimum competence level 5.
- At least 5 years of specific professional experience in SQL — minimum competence level 5.
- Extensive professional experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience delivering enterprise-level full-stack applications.
