Duration: ASAP-End of 2026 with option to Extend

Mode of work: Part Time-4/5 (with one fixed office day per week)

Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing the architecture of software applications, including defining technical standards
• Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining Oracle applications in accordance with technical standards.
• He/she is responsible for supporting and further expanding the database of one of our largest applications.
• The Oracle database is responsible for managing the data but also contains most of the business logic through Packages, triggers, views and integrations with other systems.
• In addition to managing the various schemes, you are also responsible for keeping the database healthy and future upgrades.
• Together with your web developer colleague, you are responsible for the day-to-day support to the business users.

Key Tasks:

• Performing functional analysis and converting to development tasks for the development team in accordance with technical standards - Drawing up a schedule for the execution of tasks in consultation with business owners.
• Drawing up a cost analysis for new developments or extensions to existing applications
• Maintenance and management of the oracle environment in consultation with DBA Administrator
• Supporting level 1 support service in case of problems

Skills:

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Oracle, including the design and development of complex applications.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for working with the Oracle database.
• Experience in designing and implementing security measures within oracle applications.
• Strong Knowledge of setting up and maintaining REST Api infrastructure
• Knowledge about setting up and maintaining integration with other systems including SAP.
• Knowledge about setting up and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline
• Knowledge of setting up and managing unit/integration testing

Expectations:

• At least seven years of IT experience.
• Occasional support after office hours is part of the assignment.
