Be our NEXT Lead Java Developer!
Your responsibilities:
- Translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions
- Develop new features and maintain, optimise and evolve existing Java applications
- Analyse and resolve technical issues in collaboration with other teams
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure compliance with clean code, SOLID principles and security best practices
- Keep technical documentation and best practices up to date
- Support software deployment and release management in an on-premise environment
- Coach junior and mid-level developers and contribute to knowledge sharing
- Participate in 24/7 on-call duty after appropriate training
Your profile:
- Knowledge of Java 6/8, JavaFX and Swing is mandatory
- Experience working in a Scrum environment
- Experience with LeSS, or with multiple teams working from a single backlog, is a strong plus
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration and initiative skills
- Ability to integrate easily into an existing team
- Good command of English is mandatory, with fluency in either Dutch or French
- Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call duty after appropriate training
📍 Location: Brussels, Belgium
🏢 Full-time, with 2 days per week in the office
