React Developer

We are looking for an Expert IT React Developer with 8 years of relevant experience for a 9-month project, joining an Agile squad working on digital web and app solutions for enterprise clients in Belgium. The role is based in Brussels and focuses mainly on React front-end development, with opportunities to work on Java and Spring Framework back-end components. The start date is as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Translate requirements into high-quality code.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable applications.
• Develop front-end components with React.
• Contribute to back-end development with Java and Spring Framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features.
• Work with external data sources and APIs.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Apply development best practices to ensure code quality.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Contribute to Dev and Ops activities within an Agile squad.

Must-Have Requirements

• You have deep understanding of Core JavaScript.
• You have proven knowledge of React.
• You have proven knowledge of VCS, including Git.
• You have proven knowledge of Jest and React Testing Library.
• You know clean code principles and apply them effectively.
• You write readable code and refactor where necessary.
• You understand design patterns and best practices such as SOLID principles.
• You are familiar with Test Driven Development and have practical experience with it.
• You have experience with Scrum.
• English proficiency.
